2nd Verse: The Tao Te Ching

Under heaven all can see beauty as beauty,
only because there is ugliness.
All can know good as good only because there is evil.
Being and nonbeing produce each other.
The difficult is born in the easy.
Long is defined by short, the high by the low.
Before and after go along with each other.
Health and Wealth

Health enough to make work a pleasure,
Wealth enough to support your needs,
Strength enough to battle with difficulties
and overcome them,
Grace enough to toil until good is accomplished,
Charity enough to see good in your neighbour,
Love enough to move you to be useful and
helpful to others,
Faith enough to make real the things of God,
Hope enough to remove all anxious fears
concerning the future.
Inter-relationship

You are me, and I am you.
Isn't it obvious that we "inter-are"?
You cultivate the flower in yourself,
so that I will be beautiful.
I transform the garbage in myself,
so that you will not have to suffer.
I support you;
you support me.
I am in this world to offer you peace;
you are in this world to bring me joy.

Dear Friends,
All days are special, since we can contemplate and appreciate the wonder that we are and that we have around us. They are also special as an opportunity to get involved in that in which we believe we can share our gifts and to choose who we want to be. But today, specifically, is a special day for various spiritual cultures.

Light and darkness
always present in our lives
We are awake in light
and in the absence of it
we get lost in our dreams
Day and night
Night and day
Light and darkness
Truth and lie
Tied together as one
For the light to be light
its exact opposite needs
How could we know what truth is
without the effects of a lie?
It is by feeling the sadness
that we desire our happiness
1st Verse: The Tao Te Ching

The Tao that can be told
is not the eternal Tao.
The name that can be named
is not the eternal name.
The Tao is both named and nameless.
As nameless it is the origin of all things;
as named it is the Mother of 10,000 things.
Ever desireless, one can see the mystery;
ever desiring, one sees only the manifestations.
And the mystery itself is the doorway
to all understanding.
Mother Teresa

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is a beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is costly, care for it.
Life is wealth, keep it.
Life is love, enjoy it.
Life is a mystery, know it.
