Join With Us in Creating a New Earth

Humanity’s Team invites you to join your fellow teammates and some 2 million other people creating a better way of life for themselves, and building a better world for us all, in the biggest single Oneness gathering in history.

We are proud to tie in and align with Oprah Winfrey’s global New Spirituality webcast with Eckhart Tolle as he and millions around the world share illuminating, enlightening and uplifting discussions about his best-selling book “A New Earth.”

The 90-minute, weekly self-exploring and -awakening webcasts, on oprah.com, remind us all of our connectedness with the whole, our intrinsic Oneness with every “other,” as well as with the Source of All That Is.

We in Humanity’s team are delighted and energized — and consider it highly significant — that "The New Earth” Web events have catapulted Oneness from an esoteric notion understood by only a fraction of the world’s population to an emancipatory truth embraced by millions on every continent!

The book and webcasts remind us that it is our purpose and destiny as humans to live in conscious Oneness with the totality and conscious alignment with universal intelligence.

This is how we can create a New Earth. And this is why Humanity’s Team is joining with Eckhart Tolle and Oprah in Awakening the World to Oneness.

As Tolle says: “A new species is arising on the planet. It is arising now, and you are it!”

So join with your teammates, Eckhart Tolle, Oprah and millions of others participating in and spreading the word about these life-changing Web events.

And if you want to be an active part of the vanguard of the new species arising on the planet, then increase your involvement with Humanity’s Team and share the best of your Self to advance the cause — a cause that is creating a better way of life for each of us, and building a better world for us all!

This concept will truly change all aspects of life on our planet, because life on earth is inseparable from the human consciousness that perceives and interacts with it.


Why ‘A Civil Rights Movement for the Soul’?

People within Humanity’s Team and beyond sometimes ask why we’re dubbed “a civil rights movement for the soul.”

We’ve come up with a statement that explains this. The piece shares why we were formed as a global grassroots spiritual movement, describes why we believe our work is so important and explains that we intend to complete our work within a generation so our children will grow up in a very different world.

The truth is that people worldwide are joining Humanity’s Team because they passionately believe in the New Spirituality. They are coming together and taking action in our movement because their passion for the New Spirituality — and its promise of a world of peace and harmony and happiness — are so strong.

Teammates around the world see great worthiness in their Humanity’s Team involvement. We act in unity, show strength in numbers and demonstrate commitment to the movement’s goals because we agree the world can be different — and we are willing to take action to create change.

‘A Civil Rights Movement for the Soul’

From its inception, Humanity’s Team was organized as a global grassroots spiritual movement, not as a program, activity or initiative. Movements respond to massive problems that have far-reaching consequences, touching many lives.

Two famous 20th century movements — Mahatma Gandhi’s Indian Independence Movement and Martin Luther King Jr.’s U.S. Civil Rights Movement — transformed nations. They transformed nations through a complete adherence to the movements’ truths under every circumstance and by helping other people see those truths, thereby changing hearts and minds, which changed behaviors.

Similarly, Humanity’s Team supporters hold onto a truth — the eternal truth that We Are All One — and seek to make this truth evident through our lives lived, thereby helping others see this truth demonstrated, changing hearts and minds, which change behaviors.

Humanity’s Team was founded in 2003 to address suffering and other issues stemming from the prevailing belief that we are separate from God, from each other and from all of life, and the companion belief in an authoritarian or malevolent God.

Many people, particularly in the West, are brought up to believe we are limited in most ways, have one life to live, and are separate from God, or Universe, as well as each other. Those who believe in God often see God as angry and judging or even killing under certain circumstances.

Most people are asleep to their true identity — to their Oneness with God, with each other and with all life. And their behaviors reflect this. Just look around the world, with its wars, terrorism, hunger and other painful conditions!

We in Humanity’s Team see these conditions as largely a result of our beliefs about God and about life. But all this can change.
It can change when we become aware of the truth that We Are All One and then live our lives as demonstrations of this truth, rather than in denial of it.

This is why our movement has been dubbed “a Civil Rights Movement for the Soul.”

We in Humanity’s Team see a healing truth in who we are — a truth that heals ourselves, our relationships, our communities and our world. We see that we are all part of one essence that some call God and others call Universe and that the one essence is sacred, divine, loving, compassionate, creative and eternal.

This is not a new idea. Prophets, messengers, saints and sages have shared this message since the beginning of time. It is shared in the Indian Vedas, in the Old and New Testaments, in most other sacred texts and in contemporary New Spirituality material. Oneness is also a hypothesis by quantum physicists and other scientists who say life is a unified whole with multiple dimensions, each complementing the other.

We Are All One is the one idea that truly changes everything. When we see God and Self in each other, we cannot help but nurture, love and support the other. When we embrace and embody our Oneness, we naturally care for the other person, place or thing. God and Self are in all of the other, so nothing is left out.

This is the invitation Humanity’s Team is extending — to embrace and embody our Oneness and to extend the invitation to others. This is why we were formed as a movement.

We in Humanity’s Team have set our intention to awaken the world to Oneness in a generation, so children will grow up in very different world. Many of us are dedicating our lives to this objective and we intend to do this. Then, like other movements before us, we will disband when our objective is met.

We have set a goal of raising $100,000 U.S. to support key educational outreach and spiritual activism projects. We have already raised more than $20,000 since setting the goal in November. An anonymous family has agreed to match every dollar contributed so your donation will go twice as far!

The money we raise will support the following key projects:

• Further development of our Web portal. As you may know, Humanity’s Team has just launched a new Web portal (see story below). We could not afford to create everything we wanted with the site and would like to enhance it further to support our educational outreach and spiritual activism worldwide.

• Additional funding for our Oneness Summit in Buenos Aires next month. The worldwide event, expected to attract 600 to 1,000 people (see story below), has many expenses, including paying for travel and lodging for key speakers traveling to Argentina from around the world.

• Scholarships for key Humanity’s Team leaders participating in our Global Council meeting just before the Oneness Summit. Many country coordinators cannot pay all the expenses involved in attending the weeklong meeting. Your support will help leaders of many countries attend this important coordinating meeting.

New Spirituality Network in 5th Year of Inspiring

The Humanity’s Team New Spirituality Network has begun its fifth year with a renewed commitment to spreading its free daily inspirational messages to e-mail subscribers worldwide.

“We’re thrilled at reaching this milestone and, as we begin our fifth year, we redouble our dedication to this important inspirational-message service,” said editor Gerry Harrington, who has selected and posted the messages since the network debuted March 21, 2004.

More than 40,000 people are estimated to see the messages, with many subscribers posting them on Web sites, citing them in blogs and simply forwarding the inspirations to family, friends and colleagues.

The network is highlighted and messages are reproduced on dozens of spiritual Web sites, ranging from Abundant Living Legacy to La Revolución del Alma (The Revolution of the Soul) to Kabbalah for Women. It is also featured in the Wikipedia and NationMaster online encyclopedias and the Norwegian DBpedia.org encyclopedia.

The author of Themes of Illumination, which had a passage quoted in a New Spirituality Network message, publicized this in an Amazon.com book description.

Our pioneering network — dreamed up in a Prague, Czech Republic, hotel room during the first Humanity’s Team country coordinators meeting in 2003 — contains uplifting, empowering messages and meditations from Neale Donald Walsch, as well as poetic and inspiring words from other writers whose understandings of God and life resonate with New Spirituality thinking.

You can easily receive these uplifting, empowering messages by subscribing — a 20-second process. Just go to the New Spirituality Network Web site directly or go to the new Humanity’s Team Web portal. At the Humanity’s Team site, just click on ‘Direct Inspiration. Direct to You.’ at the bottom of the homepage.

And by inviting your family and friends to sign up, they will be able to enjoy the daily messages too!

Oneness Summit in Buenos Aires May 24 & 25

May is practically here and that means the global “Oneness Summit” in Buenos Aires, Argentina is rapidly approaching! Hosted by Humanity's Team, this event will take place on May 24 & 25, and people from Canada, The Czech Republic, Great Britain, Italy, South Africa, the United States and other countries have registered to attend. Don’t miss this opportunity to join with others around the world in “being the change we wish to see.” Register now to take part in this celebration of Oneness!

Speakers will include Steve Farrell, Humanity's Team's Worldwide Coordinating Director; Founder, author Neale Donald Walsch, and Ciro Gabriel Avruj, HT Country Coordinator for Argentina.
