HUMANITY’S TEAM WORLDWIDE ACTIVITIES

Global Oneness Day This past October 24, our first Global Oneness Day ever, people and organizations in over 50 countries celebrated our Oneness, our connectivity to one another and all life on the planet. Many people have already written to us requesting information for Global Oneness Day 2011. Through Global Oneness Day, we have been able to make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of people around the world. Next year we plan to involve hundreds of thousands of people around the world.

Websites, Social Networking and Communications Humanity’s Team has two beautiful and effective websites. One is the worldwide Humanity’s Team site (www.humanitysteam.org) and the other is our Global Oneness Day website (http://www.global-oneness-day.org/). Besides these forms of communication we also have several Facebook pages around the world, Twitter accounts, Connections Radio (http://www.spiritmedianetwork.com/crs.htm , an audio visual team who creates and edits our videos, Educational Conference Calls (archived audio & transcribed calls), News letters, Email Blasts, Inspirational Messages, Blogs, and Donor and Teammate Care.

Video communications: Marianne Williamson, Yoko Ono, Timothy Freke, James Twyman, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Michael Beckwith, Neale Donald Walsch and others have filmed video in support of Humanity's Team.

Community Outreach Humanity’s Team is involved with Community Outreach All over the world! We are working in our communities in the name of Humanity’s Team. We collect and donate clothing, food, diapers, furniture, small appliances and assist terminally ill children. We are also focusing on programs for our youth, so that they grow up KNOWING that we are all One and are therefore being raised to be compassionate young adults. Humanity’s Team works with Children worldwide (Australia, China, South Africa, Romania, US, Germany, Czech Republic, Philippines, Brazil, Venezuela, and many more.

Annual Global Council Meetings Every year Humanity’s Team all volunteer Global Council, people from all walks of life come together and celebrate in Oneness and diversity. For instance, this year's meeting will be held in Greece. The yearly event brings the Humanity’s Team volunteer leaders together in gratitude for life and the blessings of learning about our connections and living in Oneness Globally. There is a sharing of leadership. Our only agenda is to learn about each other and understand how we can be of service to each other, and to plan out our yearly actions to spread Oneness.

We join in Oneness to build relationships of trust and confidence; through respect for each other and with sincerity and commitment to an honest examination of our own prejudices and assumptions; and with transparency and willingness to admit mistakes. This event definitely proves that as people of different faiths and nationalities come together we are more alike than we are different.

Brief History of Humanity's Team

June 2003: Launch of Humanity's Team -- 900 people from around the world gathered in Wilsonville, Oregon and committed to awakening the world to Oneness, to who we really are.

Five Steps to Peace: We are God’s outstretched hand, God’s unconditional love, our highest and grandest selves. The movement sees itself not just as vocal cords, but also in our lives lived, our whole being, our presence, as our highest and grandest expressions. We are being the change we wish to see in the world.

June 2005: “Seeds of Transformation” conference at Bard College, partnered with the Institute of Advanced Theology.

Annual Spiritual Leadership Awards: Humanity's Team presents these awards to people who are catalyzing the awakening process in their daily living. Previous award winners are Neale Donald Walsch, Gabriel Avruj, Desmond Tutu and most recently Andrew Harvey.

Global Internet Presence Over the years, through the Internet, HT has harnessed global energy by making a large investment on the Humanity's Team website, which has grown into blogging, social media, and marketing campaigns so that from any computer, anywhere in the world, Humanity’s Team has a definite presence. In the summer of 2010, Humanity's Team also launched a Global Oneness Day website.  Humanity's Team and its programs have Facebook pages for several different countries. Further Humanity's Team also has pages on Facebook for key initiatives such as Spirituality in Action, Global Oneness Day, Inner Work & Community Support, and Prayer, Intentions & Meditations. Humanity's Team also has a Twitter account.

2007: World tour: 39 days, 10 stops, 6 continents, crowds of more than 1,000 in some countries: New Zealand, Japan, Portugal, Moldova, Britain, Germany, South Africa, Argentina, United States, Canada. Less than 40 days, amateur producers and promoters. People energized.

Unconditional Love Tours: Summer 2007 in Europe and summer 2008 in North America.

Oneness Summit in Argentina, 2008: Diverse speakers: scientists, philosophers, spiritual figures, international speakers who came in from United States, Brazil, South Africa.

Oneness Summit in South Africa, 2009: Awarded Spiritual Leadership Award to Desmond Tutu. Dalai Lama’s envoy represented.

Oneness Summit in New York, 2010: Spiritual Leadership Award recipient Andrew Harvey, Delivered Oneness Petition to the United Nations

Launch monthly community-based meetings focused on Oneness, using “Twelve Themes” curriculum & 19, 20, 21 of every month are our Spiritual Activism Days where we focus on varied themes such as Peace, Kindness, Giving, Love, etc.  In addition to the three-day focused theme, we also promote (heavier than usual) our Declaration of Oneness with the intent of reaching over 100,000 signatures.  (Ambassador Chowdhury, United Nations former Under Secretary General in direct response to the Oneness Day Petition: I believe that unless we have the sense of solidarity among the peoples of the world, all our efforts of peace and security will go nowhere – May 20, 2010)

Humanity's Team delivered the Oneness Day Petition to the United Nations in New York in May of 2010 to Ambassador Anwarul Chowdhury. We also have support from various nations for our effort.

Country Name: SOUTH-AFRİCA
Oneness initiatives
•    Currently playing a leading role in getting a local National UBuntu Day (African expression of Oneness) declared with HT receiving support of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Chief Whip of the ANC (Ruling Party), and other respected uBuntu academics, authors, and state and Civil Society organisations.  Call for a National uBuntu Day posed at a National Conference; “Reclaiming and Living uBuntu for a Just and Caring Society” attended by 600 and unanimously adopted.  Humanity’s Team delivers Opening and Welcoming speech with Ms Winnie Madikizela Mandela being the Key Note Speaker.
•     HT SA plays a participative role in the 2010 African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM); specifically in Management of Diversity – highlighting uBuntu and Oneness as a tool for management.
•    South Africa team played a leading role in global Oneness Day Petition and Declaration. The Country Coordinator Anna Mari Pieterse served on the WW Support Team as a Oneness Day Initiatives Coordinator between Mid 2007 and end 2009, and on the WW Core Team from September 2008 until end 2009; playing an important role on a global level.
•    SA gathers approximately 1000 signatures for the global Oneness Day Petition.
•    Facilitating role in 2009 Spiritual Leadership Award; Former Nobel Peace Laureate Prize Winner Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu.
•    Producing two videos with Archbishop Desmond Tutu accepting global Spiritual Leadership award, and on supporting Humanity’s Team’s Call for a National uBuntu Day.
•    Bringing Oneness to the villages of SA through Alwyn van den Berg (cleaning the environment and respect for elders.) and his Humanity’s Team wire cars.
•    As Chair of NUDAG (National uBuntu Day Action Group) and as a next step after the endorsement of the Government of a National uBuntu Day,  Humanity’s Team SA is playing facilitating role in establishing a National uBuntu Civil Society Body in 2011 with the purpose to awaken uBuntu and the Oneness of humanity with all of Life in SA, Africa, and the world.

•    Around the World in Oneness Tour 2007 at the University of SA, with Neale Donald Walsch.  Attended by approx. 800 people; amongst these lecturers from the Departments of Psychology, Anthropology, Psychology, and Religious Studies.  A World-class event.

•    Oneness Summit 2009; Awakening the Spirit of UBuntu.  Freedom Park, Pretoria.  Supported by Freedom Park. Attended by app 400 people.  World-class open-air event including live musical attended by Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the Representative of the Dalai Lama.
During this time the Dalai Lama was refused entry into SA and SA played a critical role in ‘re-inviting’ him to attend the Spiritual Leadership Award of Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  This gained extra exposure and respect for Humanity’s Team.

•    Hosting of Global Council Meeting 2009.

•    Hosted First Global Oneness Day event in Johannesburg, 24 October 2010. Attended by app 120 people.  Wonderful Oneness activities. Other smaller gatherings and oneness services in the country.

•    Two Whole-in-One Golf-days; 2007 and 2008.  Both fields attracted approximately 100 players from leading financial institutions.  Fundraising and awareness for Oneness and uBuntu in twelve spheres of life.

Other Activities
A Special Project is carried out now by helping out an impoverished school in a remote mountainous village 16 hours outside of Manila in the Philippines. Guina Ang School having sparse resources and very limited school supplies.  Humanity’s Team Canada is helping out through a teammate named Russell The 1 Mandala project.  Russell’s thought was to help these children create a school Mandala and teach them about Canada, Peace and Oneness....This project aims to provide schools with essential learning materials. The focus is to fill the library with urgently needed English books.
Russell is part of the Canada Core team under Special Projects. As a core team of Canada, there was a donation of $200.00 to put this project into motion.. New HT teammates are being invited to participate in this project as part of being ONE with these children.

Oneness initiatives

•    Celebration and Oneness- Unity Meditation circle at historical Pnyx in Athens.
Took part in Oneness initiative where the team came together with other spiritual organizations and individuals to work on a topic of how to deal with the crisis and create the future in a more functional social model.  Delivered the speech of the day as a first small conference with about 40 participants and contributed with some articles entitled  “Survival Guide” which is a small booklet that can be downloaded for free.
Study Groups
•    6  active open groups  meeting weekly :  2  Athens, 1 in Drama ( Northen Greece), 1 in Volos & 1 in Korinth ( Central Greece ),  1 on Krete ( South) .
New Study Groups’ Facilitators Training :
•    1 wave of 12 2-hour lessons run bi-monthly. It started in March 2010 and is  completed.  6 New facilitators are trained, all of which started new groups as facilitators or co-facilitators.
•    One concentrated 2 days’ seminar is now scheduled for the beginning of December, aimed  to train people from other cities.
Produced:
o     Full Enriched and Adopted Facilitators’ Guide in Greek.
o     Booklet with 12 key topics, fully developed, (presentation text,  book reading passages , exercises, homework,… etc.)  to cover 1st year of facilitation.
Workshops & Seminars
1.    Law Of Attraction:  Full day seminar run 8 times over past year in major cities in 2009-10 ( 3 in Athens and 1 in Herakleion, Volos , Salonika, and Serres)
2.    About  500 hundred people trained to-date . Offered scholarships for  students ,youngsters and people going through financial challenges. 
3.    Functional And Joyful Relationships :  New  2 days’ Seminar - Created and launched in 2010.  Run 4 times this year. 80 people trained to-date.  Also offered partly and full scholarships. 2 hours per week for 7 weeks-ran in Athens. Also ran as 2 days in Volos.
Events & Programs
1.       Participated in 2 Conventions of the Association/ Confederation of Spiritual Organizations of Greece with a booth, Speech and Q&As.  Also participated in Celebration of Oneness Day that the Association holds on a Sunday in May, again with a booth, speech and Q&As.
2.      Had the New year party, with a small speech, lottery, food and dance with 130 teammates attending.
3.      Working on Transformation of Education; A Work group  started in November 2010  in Athens , aiming to produce a  set of suggestions  and practical steps on how to apply  the ideas  of the New Spirituality  in children’s  Education,  for teachers and parents.
4.  Helping People Re-Contextualise and Handle The ‘Crisis’ May 2010: Worked together with 2 other Spiritual Organizations to produce a small book- ‘survival guide’ for the ‘crisis’. Run a lecture on the  topic, wrote  articles published in Spiritual portal, our site and facebook page.

Monthly 1 ½ hour lectures on topics of the New Spirituality with free entrance, in Athens        ( launched as of October  2010) . Same lectures run in  other cities prior to seminars.

•    Important social network and internet campaign was carried out with a result of over 2000 signatures for the Petition.

10 Study groups all around the Country. Personally, I attend one weekly in Buenos Aires where the participants are very committed to grow internally.
One of the study group initiatives already completed was the translation of the book ‘Part of the Change’ by Neale Donald Walsch into Spanish.
There are also some virtual study groups.

We have a yahoogroup where everyday 500+ people share beautiful messages, inspiration, information and interaction. Also there are two HT Facebook Pages with more than 2000 participants each. Many of the ones transcend the net to meet in person and become friends.

•    There was a great event of poetry and performances, beyond a great debate about the new spirituality regarding what we say about the organization of the Humanity’s team Brazil.
•    There was also an election of a new coordination for the Bahia and the approval process of 5 people to coordinate Humanity’s Team in other states.
•    We congregated 130 people during the event and congregated the word of the new spirituality for all people attending. Also had video screening and musical performances.

During the festival, Presentation of poetry (organized by Collection of Poetries beyond the Seven Squares), cultural samples and sales of books have taken place as activities.

Study group combined with Zazen meditation activity. The group is running for 3,5 years.

* Kecskemét – biweekly meetings on Mondays

Study group combined with meditation, yoga. Running for 2 years.

* Kaposvár – weekly meetings - since  April 2010

Oneness Initiatives

Oneness Day Petition

Collected hundreds of signatures via internet and by the personal introduction of the petition. Hungarian translation was sent out to countless forums and spiritual group leaders. The team collected 1100 Hungarian signatures in addition to 200 from abroad.

Oneness Conference - March 13-14th 2010

Conference with famous spiritual speakers - Hungarian and international.

HT Hungary helped organizing, participated and introduced the Oneness Day Petition to the participants and collected many signatures.

* Tree Plant Program on April the 17th in 2010 with another foundation called    "Plant Trees for the Future!"
* Organized children programs, like drawing and filling out tests about Conservation and environmental protection.

Other Activities

* Inspirational Message of the Day being sent out regularly in Hungarian - since May 2008. Mailing list with ~600 members. Average of 3-5 messages per day.
