The Hercules Moment

Steve Farrell аватар

HeculesIn the movie “Hercules” there is a moment when Hercules learns he is the son of Zeus.  He understands in this moment he is the Son of a God.  In the space of a few minutes, Hercules goes from lack of clarity and extreme insecurity to absolute clarity and security.  He becomes a new person.  It is almost instantaneous.

This is the moment awaiting all of us now.  It is the moment when we truly understand God has embodied in each person and in all of life (each of us is a “God carrier” as St. Paul put it)*.  It is the moment when we know, understand and fully internalize Who We Really Are.  It is a Hercules moment.

I still remember my moment in the mid-1990’s.  I lived in Sausalito, California and had finished reading Conversations with God, book one.  When I completed the book, I did research into what Jesus had said, what Einstein had said, and what sacred texts said about our blood line and basic nature.  That evening, I sat in my Sausalito townhouse and sobbed -- crying does not accurately describe the depth of emotion; I was sobbing -- because I realized Who I Really Was and Who Each Person I encounter Really Is.  I understood in that moment that my life would never be the same again.  I felt secure and empowered beyond any measure words can describe.  I understood God was my Father/Mother and together we were powerfully co-creating my life.  I’ve never looked back.

Today, my life is devoted to Awakening the World to Oneness with Humanity’s Team members from all over the world.  I yearn for others to Awaken to Who They Really Are.

There is a joyous path, a less arduous path, for each of us.  When we Awaken, everything changes and we become joyful and powerful beyond measure!  Now, when I look out at the world around me, and see people in poverty, pain and despair, I feel hopeful because I know there is a Present in store, bigger than they can Imagine.  Their Hercules moment could come at any time!

All my love,
Steve

Hercules moment

Steve,

Thank you for a beautiful post.  I have had more than one Hercules moment.  In between, I've had Rip Van Winkle moments!  Asleep, or just not fully awake to the Divine living as me and all of us.

For me, owning my/our Divinity is a moment to moment awareness.  I practice breath and movement to embody this Truth, so that I don't forget.

I'm still a work in progress, yet when I allow God/All That Is to breathe for me, to live life through my body... I am Hercules (without the 6-pack abs)!

Thank you for showing up, Brother!
