Some of our earlier Spiritual Leadership Award members include Neale Donald Walsch in 2003, Gabriel Avruj in 2008, Archbishop Desmond Tutu in 2009, Andrew Harvey in 2010, Immaculee Ilibagiza in 2011, Barbara Marx Hubbard in 2013, Nelson Mandela posthumously in 2014, Michael Beckwith and Rickie Byars in 2015, and Ken Wilber in 2016.

For over three decades, Marianne has been a leader in progressive spiritual and religious circles. Her speeches, seminars and books have inspired us to take courageous action in civil society, business, government, and social outreach.

Since 1989, Marianne's Project Angel Food has delivered more than 12 million meals to ill and dying homebound patients. In 2004, she co-founded the Peace Alliance and supported the creation of a U.S. Department of Peace. In addition to her activism in poverty and anti-hunger issues, she has also been vocal about racial reconciliation issues, advocating for slavery reparations since the 1990s. She was the first candidate in the 2020 presidential primary season to make it a pillar of her campaign.

Marianne Williamson is respected on every continent and by every faith, and she uses her prominent platform to address the many challenges we face, promote forgiveness, and demonstrate the power of Love.

We hope you’ll join us for the 2020 Humanity’s Team Spiritual Leadership Award Ceremony on September 4th.
