Audrey Kitagawa is a cum laude, Blackstonian Pre-Law Honor Society graduate of the University of Southern California. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from Boston College Law School. She practiced law in Honolulu, Hawaii, and at the time of her retirement, was a Martindale Hubbell AV rated (highest rating for professional and ethical excellence), attorney.


She is the President and Founder of the International Academy for Multicultural Cooperation, President of the Light of Awareness International Spiritual Family, Chair of the Anti-Racism Initiative, Chair of the Gender Equality Working Group, and a member of the Advisory Council of the G20 Interfaith Forum. She is the former advisor to the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict at the United Nations. 


‍She is an inaugural member of the United Nations Environment Programme's Faith for Earth Interfaith Women Council, a UN Representative for United Religions Initiative, a Trustee for the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy, and a member of the Advisory Council for the Global Security Institute.


‍She has contributed to many publications, including “Crossing World Views, The Power of Perspective in the Hawaii Japanese American Experience” for the book, Learning in the Light; “Globalization as the Fuel for Religious and Ethnic Conflict” for the book, Globalization and Identity, Cultural Diversity, Religion and Citizenship; and “The US in Foreign Affairs: Source of Global Security, or Source of Global Fear?”


Panelists:

As Deputy CEO at the Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding, Rev. Mark E. Fowler is responsible for program development, project management and the expansion of Tanenbaum programs nationally and internationally. A sought-after facilitator and keynote speaker on equality issues like race, gender, sexual orientation and religion, Mark’s recent engagements include keynotes at SASK Power (Canada), the NASSCOM conference (Bangalore) and NALC Diversity Best Practices. Mark has also recently conducted workshops at the Out & Equal Workplace Summit, the Diversity in Asia Network (DIAN) of Community Business, and the Forum on Workplace Inclusion.


Rev. Fowler is an ordained interfaith/interspiritual minister. He is appreciative of the privilege of seeking God in all its manifestations on the planet thus far. Rev. Fowler has given the morning message several times at the New Thought Spiritual Center of Eastern Long Island in Southampton, New York, the Community Protestant Church in the Bronx, at Sacred Fellowship Ministries in Brooklyn, and at Unity of New York in Manhattan. Rev. Fowler is also a Second Year Dean of Students at the One Spirit Interfaith Seminary.


He earned a B.A. in English and Education at Duke University and trained as a Mediation and Conflict Resolution Specialist with the NYC Department of Education. He completed the seminary program at the One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York.


Tadia Rice is Vice-Chair of the Ethics Commission for the City and County of Honolulu. As a Commissioner she strives to advance the standards of ethical conduct to promote, improve and maintain public confidence in government. Her career includes multi-disciplinary business executive with more than 20 years of international experience in organizational dynamics, thought leadership, enterprise transformation, governance and ethics, cultural competence, indigenous resolution models, geo-political affairs, information security, social justice, gender issues, and expressive arts. 


In addition, Rice is an expert contributor to magazines and industry publications, and a contributing author to several books on social justice, spirituality, and global gender issues. She has authored Performance for Incarcerated Women; Transforming Horror Into Hope: The Women of Rwanda; Artificial Intelligence: The Future Is Now; What’s Your Mindset: Guanxi; Lead With Aloha; and more. Rice is also an on-air broadcaster, media personality, keynote speaker and performer who has appeared on television, radio, and in theatre productions. With a global network of strategic alliances Rice enjoys international influence while maintaining a passion for people and our world. 


In 2023 Rice was recognized by the Hawai`i State legislature for her work uplifting women; in 2022 she received the Stars of Oceania Leadership Award from the University of Hawai`i; in 2017 she received the Medal of Honor from the prestigious Ellis Island Honors Society in New York City; and in 2016 she was inducted as a Dame Knight by the Orthodox Order of Saint John, a preeminent international relief organization. For her services to promote equality, women, communities of color, and marginalized peoples, Rice has been honored by the United States Congress; California State Senate; the City of Atlanta; the City and County of Honolulu; and the United Nations Association. Rice currently serves on the Boards of the Tahirih Association, Oglala Sioux Tribal Film Commission, and the Princess of Africa Foundation.
