During the 1970s energy crisis, Gregg Braden had a successful career as a computer geologist for Phillips Petroleum. In the 1980s, he was a senior liaison with the U.S. Air Force Space Command and during the final years of the Cold War worked as a Senior Computer Systems Designer with Martin Marietta Defense Systems.

From the years 1979 to 1991, Gregg Braden worked as a problem solver during times of crisis for Fortune 500 companies, including Cisco Systems — an American multinational technology conglomerate headquartered in San Jose, California, located in the center of Silicon Valley. In 1991, he became the first Technical Operations Manager at Cisco, leading the development of the global support team assuring the reliability of the internet in its early days.

For nearly three decades Gregg Braden has explored high mountain villages, remote monasteries, and forgotten texts so that he could merge their timeless secrets with the best science available today. There continues to be growing interest in his work, and Gregg has presented his seminars and trainings in over 30 countries and on six continents to Fortune 500 companies, the U.S. military, and international businesses.
